Portrait of Helene Y. Parenteau

Since 1982, Helene Y. Parenteau has organized homes, offices, and retirement estates up and down the East Coast. She has a B.A. and an M.B.A. in Management and Marketing.

Based in New England, Helene continues to help individuals and businesses get organized. With understanding and compassion, she takes the anxiety out of decluttering, downsizing and relocating.

While developing her organizing skills part-time nights and weekends, her career experience includes fifteen years working in journalism as an editorial assistant for Newsweek Magazine and as an associate producer for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation French Network, and the World Bank.

Her fluency in French led to a stint as a bicycle tour guide in France, where in between tours she organized the company headquarters, the guides' dormitory, and the CEO's French country home.

Her services have been featured in Washington Post, Washingtonian, Washington Women, Woman's Day, Senior Digest, Eagle Tribune and other publications. Helene gives many of her few spare hours volunteering her organizing skills for many charities.

She is one of only 265 certified professional organizers in the United States.
